# Payment error [URGENT]

 * Since the latest Update (WooCommerce & Stripe for WooCommerce) customers were
   experiencing the following error when trying to place the order:
 * > You have passed a blank string for ‘card’. You should remove the ‘card’ parameter
   > from your request or supply a non-blank value.
 * I’ve tried to figure this out but I have no clue what to do.
 * Please help!

 * I am experiencing the same issue since updating to Woocommerce 2.6.1.
 * Upon placing an order, the following message is received:
 * **Credit Card Number is a required field.
    Credit Card Expiration is a required
   field. Credit Card CVC is a required field.
 * This issue is preventing customers from making purchases with their credit cards
   at [https://CrunchDaddy.com](https://CrunchDaddy.com)
 * Your help with this is greatly appreciated and urgently needed!

 * Another user posted this and it works for me:
 * “I installed: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/).
   This is the official WooThemes plugin for Stripe. It’s free. I tested it on my
   site and was able to upgrade back to WooCommerce 2.6.1 and complete a transaction
   with no issues.

 * I wish I had realized this plugin stopped working sooner. I missed a lot of sales
   in the last 3 weeks ): I second the official WooThemes Stripe plugin.

 * I found this out today when a client tried to buy a subscription. Since the official
   plugin is free, there is no need to use the third-party plugins anymore. Thanks,
   WooCommerce!
