First of all, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems with your Google PageSpeed Insights score when using Real Cookie Banner. Of course, this shouldn’t be the case.
Typically, we see drops in Google PageSpeed Insights scores due to Real Cookie Banner when the website is not optimized elsewhere, e.g. with blocking scripts. However, the problem often only becomes visible when you use e.g. a cookie banner like ours, as Google’s cookie banner best practices like embedding as early as possible but rendering later are implemented, which can be delayed by blocking scripts.
You opened a non-public support ticket at the same time as the negative rating, and my colleague has already asked you some questions today in order to analyze the problem and find a solution for you. I would be delighted if we could solve the problem cooperatively!
