I suspect this is an upgrade and you might get more upgrades if you just put this tab in the dashboard and tell me how much it is to take paypal payments for this!

    EM user here.
You are very unclear! Also, you type as if you are extremely frustrated… I am guessing you are looking on how to upgrade to the EM Pro version?

Please use a friendly question mark, next time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It just amazes me how often common sense is not used. Better marketing will add up to more sales.

Here’s where we are having trouble with for a built in payment solution. Its for classes. $15 for 1 or $35 for unlimited and most built in payment solutions don’t support this. Do you have any ideas for this?

I actually praise the EM developers for not spamming the free version with โ€œplease upgradeโ€ messages!
They realize that the free version is already more versatile than every other events plugin out there. And is likely enough for a large part of their 100.000+ free users.

Events Manger charges per event. It an event manager plugin, not aimed at classes, but single events. So you will need custom coding to achieve otherwise

I don’t like spam either….but there’s a big difference between spam and good marketing.

It’s not up to you! Stop now.

    Seriously?

You aren’t even owners of the plugin. I make my living building websites and recommend plugins all day long. Many of my clients would easily pay for the upgrade and all I’m suggesting is to have tabs for some of these upgrades to tease them. So maybe instead of YOU refusing my business for the owners you should let them respond.

I’m not suggesting spamming…..I know those plugins and stay away from them when I can. I think some strategically placed upgrade options in the plugin would work very well.

    Hello,

I am always open to constructive criticism, we may in the future add information about upgrading to a premium version or paying for features. I agree with your point about marketing etc. and it’s something we’ve already considered. I do have my reservations about over-selling on a free plugin, but am not against a reasonable balance either. However, right now our focus features, not sales.

I think at this point, now that you’ve given us your opinion, you should focus on whether our plugin is right for you and what you’re trying to achieve.

We offer a pro version, and we state this in our main plugin page with a link, on that site it explains everything and you can write to us via the contact page if you have any questions related to the Pro plugin. Currently, it’s one pro plugin for all features.

We cannot, however, discuss this further here, as it’s against the forum guidelines to discuss plugins/features not hosted on wordpress.org. We’re happy to help you out with this via email.

I’m asking a moderator to close this thread.

Thanks for considering my suggestion. That’s all I wanted. ๐Ÿ™‚

No problem, it’s already under consideration ๐Ÿ˜‰
