Pay for a database – Please clarify?

    Quick question. New to WordPress. My webhosts (Fasthosts.co.uk) have a built in app to WP which they tell me will set up WordPress really easily. In order to do this, they are asking me to pay £25 to buy a database MySQL 5.0 Is this correct? Do I need to pay them for a database? No probs if I do have to – just checking. Thanks.
