Support » Plugin: TranslatePress - Translate Multilingual sites » After a misunderstanding it works very well

  • I have not yet covered all the special cases of my site, but so far it is doing quite well. In the beginning the site was very slow, but after the support had written, it went quite well.

It may be that I adapt my review if we have more experience. For us it is currently the best solution.

Really sorry about this. We did answer the ticket on Thursday 12th, last week. But it looks like you didn’t receive our answer, so I’m pasting it here as well:

    Hello Sylvia,

TranslatePress does impact the Time to First Byte (TTFB), however, in your case since the site is cached, it shouldn’t really matter.

What you can try is to activate TranslatePress -> Settings -> Advanced -> Disable dynamic translation

That’s a script that listens for text changes with javascript and might loading time.

That being said, I’m not 100% sure if Google isn’t skipping the cache for some reason, although it shouldn’t matter.

    Best Regards,

Try to search also in the spam section.

Also, if the issue persist you can contact us using the WP forum or you can open a support ticket on our website.

We’ll do our best to get to the bottom of this.

    Thank you for understanding,

I’m afraid the mail never arrived. In both my tickets I also gave an alternative address, but there was no answer. I started another ticket because the above mentioned tip didn’t help me.
