 * Messed up today bigtime – yes I am stupid I know! My wordpress was in a folder
   of its own, and I wanted the site to open at the root! Cutting the long story
   short!
 * To clean up, I created a new wordpress installed on my site’s root. After loading
   the plugin’s that the old wordpress uses, into the new wordpress, I copied the
   old wp-config file to the new site.
 * Was delighted, all appeared to be working great – all my posts were there, all
   was working well. Until I tried to upload an image – now it’s obvious the path
   is wrong.
 * I’ve had a look around, but can’t find a clear answer – I’ve read that the pathway
   can be configured from the dashboard, but I can’t find it.
 * Would appreciate any help and apologies for the stupidity! 🙂

 * I think they removed this option from dashboard with WP 3.5 . You can configure
   it from wp-config.php
 * Check [http://www.basicwp.com/custom-image-uploads-folder-wordpress/](http://www.basicwp.com/custom-image-uploads-folder-wordpress/)
