Responsive WordPress Slider - Soliloquy Lite
[resolved] Path for CSS and JS files have duplicate content? (5 posts)

    I had the slider working fine on a site, then pulled a copy of the site to another server to do some testing (for something else), and when I did so, things stopped working.

    I'm loading the slider on the homepage in a custom page template where I added the recommended code:
    if ( function_exists( 'soliloquy_slider' ) ) soliloquy_slider( 'YOUR_ID_HERE' );)

    I explored a bit, and it seems the problem is the CSS and JS files aren't being found since somehow the paths are getting written with duplicate info (instead of looking to http://www.mysite.com/folder1/folder2 as it should, it's looking to http://www.mysite.com/folder1/folder2/folder1/folder2).

    Looking at the source for the page, here are the duplicates:
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="/folder1/folder2/folder1/folder2/plugins/soliloquy-lite/css/soliloquy.css?ver=1.5.1">

    <script type='text/javascript' src='/folder1/folder2/folder1/folder2/plugins/soliloquy-lite/js/soliloquy.js?ver=1.5.1'></script>

    Any guidance on where/how to fix this very much appreciated!

    It sounds like you did not replace your URLs correctly. I would try using something like Velvet Blues URL updater to update your plugin URLs. That should help fix that issue.

    They were replaced fine EVERYWHERE else on the site -- even in other parts for Soliloquy -- just not in those two spots, which I don't even know where/how to access. (I'll check out Velvet Blues for future use.)

    Can you tell me where to find the source for those two elements in the plugin files so I can check them out?

    Did you change the location of the plugin? I use the standard plugins_url function to grab the URL, so changing the URLs should have updated that.

    You know what? I think my brain might be fried. So sorry for the hassle -- I completely forgot that the problems were happening when GoDaddy was having server issues, and I might have done a fresh install in the meantime -- either way, everything looks good now.
