    I’ having issues with images.
This image is working just fine
    https://sussexelementary.nbed.ca/wp-content/uploads/sites/24/2021/01/LOGO-SES-Sept17.png
but if I FTPs to the folder, it doesn’t exist!
    wwwroot/wp-content/uploads/sites/24 <<< site #24 doesn’t exist.
I tried to push it and i created the folders /24/2021/01/ and uploaded a random image.

Using ‘File Manager Advanced’ plugin, I can see what I should see in FTPs.

Is this a database issue? everything else seems to hold up.

    Running WordPress 5.6
If you’re replying asking I check with the Host, please explain why

  • If you FTP images into your uploads folder, then the image will not be in the Media Library on the dashboard. If you upload via your dashboard’s Media Library, can you see it then?

If I add an image using the Media Library, I see the progress bar reach 100% but it never finishes. If I refresh the page, the image isn’t there.

    Image is 11kb and 140px x 140.
“Post-processing of the image failed likely because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.”

I’ve read and re-read that thread and it just points to the file site issue. I’ve checked things and followed @joshben suggestions. Although I haven’t tried them all, I’m still having issues. All thread talk about the file size issue, not about the folder issue I initially posted.

My issue seems to be resolved. Local caching was enabled in Azure and since WordPress dynamically creates the pages this is not a recommended. A plugin would better handle caching.
Since the caching was done on the server side, anytime the service or app reset, everything that was not written to the database was lost. Images, documents, media, was lost and even plugins that were updated would revert back to it’s past version.

I did downgrade to WordPress 5.5.3 since there is still an issue with image uploads in version 5.6.1 for me.

Now my images are uploading, showing up in FTP, in appropriate multisite location /wp-content/uploads/sites/24/2021/01/filename.here
    thanks @asterbird & @t-p
