    Hi there,

After installing WordPress version 5.7.2 (NL) – Dutch version – something strange happend when pasting text with links in the blokeditor. Text of the link is shown as a link (blue highlighted), but when I click on it (in blokeditor) nothing shows. There is no information given on the content of the link, nor can I remove the link. That option is not shown either.

When I use CTRL+Shift+I in my Chrome browser for developer tools, strangely there the link is shown correct in HTML code.

If I save my post as concept and look at the example of the post, suddenly the links are clickable and referring to the right adress.

My problem is that I can not check if pasted links are correct in the usual way anymore, nor can I remove them.

  • what is the example page with a pasted link?
can you provide a screenshot/video that show the issue?
have you update all plugins and themes to latest versions? (backup first!)
