Past events not moving to trash

    Hello There,

    I’m writing regarding the issue we’ve been having with our website old events not moving to trash. I’m currently using Remove Past Events plugin to move old events to trash, but it’s not moving old events to trash. So, is there any suggestions, how can I move my old events to trash in a proper way?

    Hi @debuggersstudio,

    I did a few tests with the extension on my dev environment and did not have any issues with it so this may be a conflict or issue with the cron job here. I’d suggest checking the cron jobs to see if there are any discrepancies here. For now, if you need to remove events that ended earlier than one month, you will need to manually remove the events.

    Hi @debuggersstudio

    There could be a plugin/theme conflict on your end. Could you try running a conflict test? I suggest conducting these tests on a Staging Server.

    If that doesn’t help, could you provide the version of the following? This will help me understand how your system is set up.

    • PHP
    • WordPress
    • The Events Calendar
    • Theme

    Hi,
    Yes I’ve done test on my staging server and result remains same, now I’m getting an error in my website for  Remove Past Events plugin, I’ve attached an image of the error ( https://freeimage.host/i/HPGzKxe ).
    PHP : 8.0.28
    WordPress : 6.2.2
    The Events Calendar :  6.1.2.1
    Theme : SimpleMag (5.0)

    Please try downloading and replacing the Remove Past Events plugin with the latest version to solve the issue. Let me know if it works for you.
