    LDAP auth does not works when user’s password contains the “\” in the middle of password, it has been replaced with “\ \” i.e. extra space and backslash were added according to tcpdump.

    Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, PHP7 7.0.15-0ubuntu0.16.04.4

    Thanks for reporting. That seems to be an issue due to wordpress automatically escaping Backslashes and quotes. I’m already working on a fix and hope to deploy it later today.
