# Password troubles

 * I’m having trouble. I just installed WordPress successfully and changed my password
   for site admin, however now it is not working. I tried having wordpress email
   me a replacement password and got this:
    Login: Password: (random passw0rd) Login
   at: [http://www.frolic.org/wordpress/wp-login.php](http://www.frolic.org/wordpress/wp-login.php)
   Why is there no user name/ what should I use for my user name??

 * I had the exact same problem. In the end the only thing that worked was to look
   in the database at the users table and copy the encrypted password entry and 
   use that, wierdly it seems to work…
