    Hi Sean,

Are you referring to “not wanting” stronger passwords, or to enforcing stronger passwords within WooCommerce?

WordPress 4.3 enforces stronger passwords for user accounts, as well as a new workflow for resetting a user’s password from the WP Admin.

If you’re not yet running WordPress 4.3, I’d say upgrading would be a great place to start. From there, there is a “Force Strong Passwords” WordPress plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-strong-passwords/ ) which should add another layer on top of the built-in WordPress passwords, if you feel that isn’t strong enough.

If you have further questions around this, please do let me know.

Matty, thank you so much for getting back to me. I have tried a veritable cornucopia of plugins including your suggestion. Every single one of them to no avail whatsoever. This is an ecommerce site and I would have thought there’d be some minimal password reqs just built in. Also I am really perplexed as to why the more stringent password requirements of 4.3 seem not to even come into play. I even double-checked to see if I’d somehow not sucessfully upgraded to 4.3. on the site but no there it is. Know anyone who is expert at woocommerce? The theme is themify’s Pinshop. Wonder if that might be the issue.

We’ll look at this for the next major https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/8938 if possible. The password strength rules only apply to WP profile/reg forms right now I believe.
