Password Reset ‘Save’ Button Broken

    A few weeks prior we began to receive email from several users that they were unable to reset the password. Regardless of browser, users all reported the same error:

    “Clicking the ‘Save’ button on the password reset page does nothing.”

    In addition to the Sucuri plugin, we also employ Limit Login Attempts Reloaded, which limits users to a specified number of attempts before locking a user’s account for a pre-determined amount of time.
    As such, we have been able to re-create the issue by:

    • Make 7 failed login attempts
    • Wait timeout period
    • Request password reset
    • Follow password reset link
    • Enter new password/confirm new password
    • Attempt to ‘Save’ password reset results in no action after button click
    • Deactivate Sucuri
    • Keep Limit Login Attempts Reloaded
    • Account lockout/password reset functions as intended.

    Please fix.
