Password Reset – no email received

    hi, sorry to bother with this, but for some reason my password wasn’t working so I reset it and entered in my email address to resend the password, but it never showed up. then I did it again and entered my login id and no email was ever sent. there is no one at wordpress I can talk to help me here, would love to hear how I can fix this or contact them. thank you.

    this is my best option? I do not know how to do any of the other options as I do not have my MySQL password as I did not create the site, though I am its owner. Is there any other way, I just want to know why they are not sending me an email, what changed. I find it a bit ridiculous that there is no one I can contact. I get it reduces cost and the forum is very helpful, but there should be some method to reach them.

    Have tried resetting your password in the dashboard (admin area?
