# Password reset link issues

 * I think I found 2 issues with the password reset link.
 * Everytime I want to edit the link, it gets reset to: [http://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/password-reset-link-issues-2/?output_format=md){
   password_reset_link}
    I think it should be just {password_reset_link}
 * However my site is running on https. The https link that is generate by the reset
   link is missing ‘:’
    It reads http//www where it should be [https://www](https://www)
 * Hope you can take a look at this.

 * Interesting, my SMTP makes it a challenge to see the original redirects. That
   may be why the links are invalid. I believe I am having the same issue.
