password reset for this user is disabled

    A client of mine has an account with wordpress.org and they now cannot logon and are gettng the message

    “Password reset is not allowed for this user”

    how can this be fixed

    The short version is that that account was blocked for sock puppetry.

    well this is wrong, they are my client, they are happy with my work, I think they have even disclosed it…

    if someone had checked they would see they are an actual business, how can this happen?
