• When a subscriber to my site requests to have their password reset, the email they receive is from …@box709.bluehost.com. Obviously my host is bluehost.com, but I would prefer the email be sent from my blog url… wixby.com. Is there any way to change this preference?

  • Make sure that the email address you’re wanting to use is a real email address and has been created in your host’s cPanel.

Thanks for responding! Unfortunately I have already created the email address and it doesn’t resolve the issue. It’s interesting because the only email that comes from …@box709.bluehost.com is the password reset. All other emails (account creation, account update, etc.) come from wixby.com.

Did you try the wp-mailfrom plugin and see if it makes any changes to this?

I’d be interested to know. I’m not having this same problem, but I’m not sure I remember what mail-related changes I’ve done on my site. Besides adding the wp-mailfrom plugin.

I just ran in to this issue as well and tried the wp-mailfrom. Works a treat.
