# Password Reset

 * I have UM installed on multiple sites. As of now, all of them, will no longer
   send the password reset email when requested. It still sends the registration
   approval emails, but not password reset.
 * If it was just one of my sites, I would think it was a design issue, but all 
   of them (different hosting providers) are experiencing the exact same thing.
 * When I click on “Send password reset” from the default WordPress Users page, 
   the email is sent fine. But not using the UM password reset form.
 * Using the same config, they worked previously. Not sure if this is the latest
   version issue or something else. They are all running Version 2.6.11

 * Just to clarify:
    - User registration emails to both the Admin and User are sent and received 
      just fine.
    - User (when approved or denied) to both Admin and User are sent and received
      just fine
 * It is only the password reset emails that are not being sent. I simply don’t 
   know where else to check.

 * It is not just your sites. I have been trying to figure this out now for a month.
   It is exactly as you say. All other emails work fine, just not the password reset
   email.

 * My only option at this time is to point users the WordPress default password 
   retrieval form:
 * /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
 * That one still works fine, since the UM functionality no longer does.

 * This seems to have been resolved in Version 2.7.0 which was just released. Would
   have been nice to at least gotten an acknowledgement there was an issue.

 * Not for everyone. I updated to version 2.7 and still have the same problem. The
   reset password email never get sent. I also run the WP Email Log Plugin which
   records All emails my website sends and it never records an UM reset password
   email.
