Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

Not sure what you’re asking. The theme used on the site is Weaver II.
Which part of my suggestion above are you having a problem with?

Are you asking me to make another site with the default Twenty Fourteen theme and make a test password protected page to see if it works properly in Firefox?
No. I am suggesting that you switch the theme on your current site to Twenty Fourteen, deactivate all plugins and then check that post.

I cannot bring down my site and features that my membership rely on to check one feature. Thank you for trying to help, but I’ll work on finding a plug in that accomplishes a password protected page.
There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting – a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.
Your theme & plugin settings are saved in your database and should be retained for future use.
The page works correctly for me in FireFox.

The Members Only page works for you with a password box? Interesting — because it doesn’t for me…
Yes, it looks the same as in IE.
