I have eight pages in my newsletter-type Blog. One of the pages is password-protected, but the password is not working for some folks. On the other hand, one person reports opening the page right up without a password. What am I doing wrong? I can think of one thing, perhaps. I’ve worked on this thing so that various versions appear on the Google or other Web search pages. How do I get rid of the the unnecessary versions?

    How are you password-protecting it?

Password protecting post/page is built into WordPress. Just put in a password when creating the post or page. Look on the upper right hand corner on Edit Page or Edit Post > visibility > pick Password Protect.
For more info, review this codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Password_Protection

I double-checked everything. It was all done correctly. Then I read a post from someone else which advised the user to try a different browser. IE works, but not Foxfire, Safari, Etc. Thanks for all your help.
