Password protection

    hello fellow members i am new towordpress created my website 2 days ago . I have a lot of info for people but i want to pass word protect it . i know how to do that but only for members so they have to create a profile and so on also how to get a mailing list set up as well can anyone help me out please also please tell me what you think

    You can add passwords to individual posts. Select a post to edit it & look in the upper right hand corner. Click “visibility” and modify your settings as needed.

    thanks but thats not what i meant i knew how to do that but i want it so only members can log and they choose there on password and username to log in with so they can access all the pages
