Password Protecting pages | WordPress.org

Hi guys! This is my situation. I have a PAGE that is available ONLY for members. I searched around for a plugin that can do this but could not find it.

What I’m going to do for the moment is to put the /wp-login.php as the link for the restricted page in this way I force everyone to login, I don’t know I’m guessing.

Does anyone knows any plugin that does the trick or an elegant solution to it? Thanks.

Hey Ipstenu just a question! I selected all the components, created a new role and assigned this role to a page but when I go to the website it won’t let me navigate the rest of the pages, it takes me to a login page. I was expecting to get a login only at the page I wanted to, not the whole website. Is this how it works? Thanks.

Never mind, I found this plugin that does exactly what I need, it password protect only the page I need to.

If you only want to password protect ONE page, that’s built into WP.

I know these are .com directions, but they work for .org as well, and for pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
