# Password protected visibility redirection issue

 * I was trying to make a page only visible to users with passwords.
 *  So thought about trying it out for testing and made a simple demo page and set
   visibility to password protect and then published it.
 * Now, when I am giving the password, instead of opening the page content it is
   redirecting to the following /wp-login.php?action=postpass.
 * I am not using any plugin, it’s just the normal method applied by changing visibility
   in WordPress post or page. WordPress is also updated to the recent version.
 * So, please help me find a fix to it.

 * Do you mean you are using this method?

 * What other plugins do you have installed on the site?
    And did you try disabling
   them all and then re-testing?
 * If this still fails, check your htaccess file and perhaps revert to default:
