    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

-I only have one plugin, contact form 7 and i have tried to deactivate and reactivate. That didn’t work

    -Twenty Eleven didn’t work

    -i did the resetting…it didn’t work

not sure how to do the last one, but i just installed the latest version of wordpress and it doesn’t work

Well I cannot replicate your problem using Twenty Eleven, so whatever this is, it’s specific to your site.
