Password-protected course page shows all lessons underneath password entry field

I need to create four courses from the array of lessons we’ve made. I made a trial course and created a password and put the course in main navigation.

When I click on the link, I see the field to put in the password and it logs me & shows how many lessons I’ve completed, but also, ALL the lessons are visible on the main page as well. It doesn’t change whether I am logged in or not. I tried other browsers as well.

How do I show the course without showing the lessons? I’ve looked for a setting somewhere & can’t find one.

I’m using the Divi theme, but I tried a stock WordPress theme as a test, and that did not fix it. Thanks!
