# Password Protected Client Section?

 * Hello,
 * I know it is possible to password protect an individual page or post, but is 
   there a plugin or a way to create a client section that sends a person to a specified
   page based on their login info? So, I would crate a login username and password,
   associate it with a page and when someone goes to my client page or section, 
   they would enter their info and be taken to the appropriate page.

 * This is not a part of “normal” WordPress functionality. You would need to write
   a plugin and/or modify your theme for something like this.

 * OK, here’s an experimental, but nevertheless functional [plugin](http://www.myvirtualdisplay.com/2008/08/28/restricting-access-to-a-wordpress-post-or-page/)
   that restricts access to a post or page based on the user’s login name or ID 
   number.
