    I have been using the plugin for some time now and loved it up until now. For some reason it is allowing the selected role ( I have a dealer role created) to reset passwords.

    I have the Protected Role selected – Dealer
    I have no other selections, and I have saved but it still allows reset for this role.

    I also tried to select all the users in the Protected list and saved and again it still allows password reset.

    I tried everything to figure this out but don’t know what the problem is. I would appreciate any help because I really need the feature of not allowing passwords to be reset for my dealer role.

    Are you using any role-modifying plugins? Have you tried protecting roles on a fresh install?

    That for your reply Edward, the only thing I have is AAM and what I did is change the Subscriber role to be named Dealer since I am setting up Dealer accounts on the website.

    I tried several different installs, live, local etc. but don’t get any protection from selecting the Dealer role or individual users. I’ll keep trying to figure it out.

    I don’t want Dealers to reset their password other wise it will be an issue.

    Hi Edward, it is now working after I disabled the plugin and re-activated and selected the Dealer role and saved!

    Just a quick question, not sure when or how I should use the Protected Users list. If I select the Role ” Dealers” should I also select all the users I do not want to reset the passwords in the Protected Users list?
