    I am a “none developer” who needs assistance with setting up my Passster plug-in. I am interested in protecting a pdf file presently in Media. Thus far I have the following shortcode entered on “edit page” of my wordpress site:
    [Passster password= “xxx”] your content here [/Passster]
    what do I need to enter in “your content here”?

    Hey @jimaharri,

    thanks for your request.

    If you add the Shortcode, you put in your link for the pdf file directly between it: [passsster password=”xxx”]https://my-site.com/my-file.pdf[/passster].

    If someone entered the right password he is able to download the file.

    Just to make sure: Passster does not protect the file directly. So it would be also downloadable if a user directly visits https://my-site.com/my-file.pdf
