Password not being saved.

I moved my site from one server to another. The domain name remained the same and everything works fine after the move except…

When I log in to the admin page my password is not accepted. The site emails me a new password and I can log in with that and change my password. The next time I try to log in I have the same problem and can’t log in without having the site send me another temp password and going through the process again. It seems that my password is not being saved but I did check it in PHPAdmin and changed it within PHPAdmin as well but still the same issue. I did try clearing the cache and rebooting the machine but still my password is not being saved. Any suggestions?
