Password mess

I am a novice with a gigantic problem and I am not certain what version that I am using, but I had to enter something. My BIG ISSUE is:
I engaged a freelancer on Elance, to build a web site and shopping cart. He did not finish the web site and completely totaled the non-PCI compliant shipping cart that I had. I filed a grievance with Elance and they ruled in my favor, however, the freelancer put a Phishing scheme on my Word Press login. When I try to reset my password on W. P. I receive a “reset screen,” but the reset screen goes to the freelancer in an attempt to capture my password. The problem is that I don’t know my own password and because of the Phishing site, I can’t reset it. Can anyone tell me how to reset it? I am in a real jam! Thank you very much for any assistance that you can give me; I have been trying to figure the out for almost 2 days and have accomplished nothing.
If you are kind enough to try to help me, please be specific, because I am a real novice at computer things. I will be truly grateful if anyone can help me!
