Thanks for your patience. I wish it’s something easy to fix. Otherwise, I will just accept it is broken and I adjusted the text of the email to warn new users they need to edit the url manually or ask for a password reset.

    Hi @thesimarchitect,

If I cross check for s2Memeber with renamed login page. The new user email message have the text.

To set your password, visit: %%wp_set_pass_url%%

    https://snipboard.io/k92Nyb.jpg

and in email it has the correct link with renamed login page not wp-login.php

Hi! Thanks for getting back quickly and for looking into it. Sorry for my own burnout.

So, when I create a new user using WordPress’ back end (user list in the dashboard) the link is correct.

If I create a user by using the registration form, the link is incorrect (with better notifications or without better notifications plugin, it does not matter, the link for new users is always wrong when using the registration form).

Did you test by using the “add user” button or did you act as a potential new user registering?

Wow! I finally found how to use WordPress’ native registration form again (I had a bunch of redirects preventing me to test it, had to find them) and Nativer’s WordPress’ register form works correctly too. Therefore, the problem is with s2Member’s registration form vs the change your plugin makes.

Not sure why that happens, but I am glad I was finally able to find this extra piece of information.

    Hi @thesimarchitect,

It seems you are using s2Member Pro and the registration form is not free, based on our detailed review. Could you please confirm this?

If so, you should raise a support ticket with them and let us know if they require any changes from our side. The site_url filter must be applied to that link in order to change wp-login.php to the renamed login page set by AIOS.

Thanks! I will take a look at the code. I also shared a link of this conversation with s2member’s author.

I wonder if there’s any hack I can add to my functionality.php file that converts the wrong address manually for this situation.

I’ll try to read the registration form’s code later. I don’t know php but I have some obsolete programming skills from the 80’s/90’s πŸ™‚

I really appreciate your patience. πŸ™πŸ»

    Hi @thesimarchitect,

If we know the code which creates link,I can say if the filter in theme function.php can be used or not.

Once s2Member Pro answer let me know.

    Regards
