I was hired to run the company blog, but I have a big problem. Using the admin username and password they gave me, I can login and can add/edit posts but I can’t get access to download upgrades and plugins. I have tried resetting the password but it still doesn’t work. Is there any way to retrieve this information or reset this passoword?

    please help!

This is what I’m talking about:

    Connection Information
    Username/Password incorrect for ___

To perform the requested action, connection information is required.

    Hostname
    Username
    Password
    Connection Type Connection Type FTP
    FTPS (SSL)

It’s asking for your FTP login credentials. If you don’t know your FTP login credentials, contact your hosting provider.

OK. Well my company hosts it on their own servers and around the same time I was hired, so was a new IT guy. Somewhere along the line, that information got lost. Guess we’ll just have to figure it out!

    Thanks, James.
