Password-free 2FA – Great idea with “Scan to login

    I was looking for a simple, password-free login. If possible 2FA. I came across Almefy, an interesting concept. You just scan the QR code with their app, and you’re in. Very simple – and for 2FA you always need your smartphone anyway. So why not just use the phone.

    Installation was easy, but I had to request a code. Well, OK – the guys responded quickly, and it’s free for private use anyway. All over: Plugin stays in – for now on the test drive, but makes a stable impression and the fast and secure scanning without the password is pretty good.
