Password changing issue

We’ve been using this plugin successfully for a couple of years; thanks!

We typically reset the site password periodically. When we change it, it was our expectation that the next time anyone tried to access the site, they would be asked for the new password. Instead, the old password continues to work for anyone who has entered it in the past for the duration value specified in the admin.

We don’t want to reduce the duration, because that might force people who know the current password to have to enter it again.

It is fairly easy to fix this by zeroing out the appropriate cookie field in the database when the password is changed, letting the program re-generate a new cookie, and thereby forcing the user to enter the new password.

We hope you’ll consider adding this to the plugin, or at least providing an option to do so.
