Support » Plugin: Redirection » Pass referrer to target URL?

I am wondering if it is possible to pass the original referrer via a URL parameter to the target.

For example, if someone clicked a link on flimflam.com, and arrived on mysite.com/landingpage

If I were to redirect them to mysite.com/betterpage, could I somehow append the referral like

    mysite.com/betterpage?referrer=flimflam.com

The reason I’m looking for this solution is that many incoming referrals to pages I’ve redirected, are being stored as Direct traffic in Google Analytics, and I would like to get more visibility into that traffic.

You need to add the referrer yourself to the URL. It’s not a reliable source of information otherwise.
