Support » Plugin: Email Subscribers & Newsletters - Simple and Effective Email Marketing WordPress Plugin » Partial sends (appr 300 sends for 800 subscribers)

  • Our subscriber list is appr 830. We’re getting only partial sends (between 250 – 310).

We’re trying to determine the cause and nothing jumps out at us to suggest whether it is this plugin, the SMTP plugin or the SMTP server.

Our send report in Email Subscribers & Newsletters hows the sends but not the failures. Is this expected? Is there a way to identify the failed sends as well as the successful ones?

    Diagnostic Info
Our SMTP mail server is configured on AWS SES. The failures aren’t showing up in the server logs; only the successful sends appear.
We are running the latest version of WordPress.
We are running the latest version of your plugin and the WP Mail SMTP plugin.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Are you seeing any errors in your access/debug log?
Adding, can you please confirm you are not exceeding the email limit of AWS SES?

Hi Mansi – we are not exceeding the AWS SES limit. Our list is only 830 subscribers.

We also do not see errors in our SMTP log.

    Hi,

Can you let me know what is the php timeout on your end?

Hi Mansi – the php timeout is 60 seconds

    Hi,

Can you please increase php timeout to 120 seconds and then have a check once.

Hi Mansi – we cannot increase the php timeout from 60 seconds to 120 seconds. I contacted our webhost and they said 60 is their max.
