Am looking at utilising WooCommerce for a classic car owners club’s spares department.
A number of items have a “surcharge” which is applied at point of ordering (and paid by the customer), and when they return their old part, this surcharge is then refunded.
This works well with their current off-line system and sending a cheque in the post – but I’m not sure how this could be replicated within WooCommerce.
I have seen that I can do “forced sales” – when a part with a surcharge is selected, the surcharge is automatically added to the cart, so that part is sorted and allows the surcharge to be specified as a separate product.
So, the question is – are partial refunds possible? Can I select an individual item on an order and issue a refund, keeping a record of the original sale, plus the refund.
