[resolved] Parsing title when using Front-end Editor (4 posts)

I'm using both Social Media Feather and the Front-end Editor plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/front-end-editor/). FEE edits adds some code to the title tag for it to function. This code now also shows up in the parsed Social Media Feather title, whenever a %%title%% is called. Can it be that Media Feather uses the_title(); instead of the_title_attribute(); as described here: http://scribu.net/wordpress/front-end-editor/common-mistakes-in-themes.html

Is there an easy way to fix this?

You could replace the relevant code. Note though that the point in the article is incorrect. You are really not supposed to add markup to the_title() in the first place.

In any case I'll see to add another variable %%title_attribute%% in a future version, so you'll be able to use that instead.

Thanks for the reply, adding the other variable would be great! I will wait for the update rather than editing the plugin :)
