Parse Error upon installation

    I am using WordPress 4.0 and the most recent version of the plugin. Upon installation, I get the following error in my dashboard:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CLASS in /home/toolkit4/public_html/mysite/wp-content/plugins/advanced-access-manager/application/control/object/metabox.php on line 1

    When this error occurs, I can’t access anything else in my dashboard … so I have to delete the plugin via FTP to get everything working again.

    So, I’m assuming this plugin hasn’t been updated for the latest version of WordPress, or is something else causing this?
