    Keep getting the error -

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /websites/LinuxPackage05/st/ir/li/stirling-house.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/sterlingHouse/functions.php on line 48

    The line of code in question is -

    $content_width = 460;

    I've tried uploading the functions.php file again, but get the same error.

    Any ideas?

    Where did you download this theme from?

    It's a custom theme, based on the TwentyTen theme.

    I'm sorting out the mess that the previous web designers made. Hurrah!

    Then I'm sorry but there is very little else we can offer to help. All I can suggest is that you doublecheck the code from lines 40 - 50.

    That error message means that there is an error in line 47, or in one of the lines before that. The parser didn't notice until it got to the end of line 48.

    But what is the error referring to? The line of code it's talking about has nothing wrong with it...

    Since this is a custom theme, we have no idea what is in that file and cannot offer anything more in the way of help other than what we have suggested above.

    Yeah thanks for that.
