# Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end..

 * I received this message when trying to install wp.
 * Full error message:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in …root\blog\
   wp-includes\locale.php on line 22
 * I can’t work out what is line 22 when I open the file in notepad.
    Can anyone
   help? Many thanks 🙂 B

 * I’d re-upload the wp-includes directory to make sure you don’t have a file corrupted
   by the initial load.
 * Make sure your FTP client is in text/ascii mode when uploading the php files.
