    Dear Admins and Pros!

    The spirit of easter
    is all about Hope,
    Love and Joyfull living.
    Happy Easter!

I would like to ask for your help. Have downloaded https://wordpress.org/themes/expert, after activating an error mesage appeared: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /web/salsa/salsa/tesztoldal/wp-content/themes/expert/functions.php on line 1053 (only adminsiter wp online and cannot login now)

Problem: have read closed and resolved issues so logged into the server providers account and unfortunately could not find the test site (salsa.hu/tesztoldal) of the site nor the ftp upload for it, was not amongst the sites/domains at all. The original salsa.hu is a joomla site. I was about to use a new wp site to replace it (i havent uploaded the original template stargazer, but i tried to replace it by expert+ do not now the wp version of ths site unfprtunately).

Hope you will have time to help during the Easter Holidays. Thanks for your help in advance.

    Best regards: Rita

    Rita,

You are on the right track. Using an FTP program, log into the server and go to this directory:
    /web/salsa/salsa/tesztoldal/wp-content/themes/
Within that directory you will see a folder called 'expert'. Delete it.

The theme you downloaded has an error in it which breaks everything. If you delete it, WP should fall back to one of the default themes and you should be able to log in again.

    Hope this helps.
