# Parse error: syntax error

 * Please help!
 * I tried adding come code to the functions.php file in my Editor and now I cannot
   access any of my website (including the dashboard) to fix the error. Everything
   simply comes up with this error message:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/robaid/kerosenechronicle.com/
   wp-content/themes/nishita-wpcom/functions.php on line 411
 * How can I fix this?

 * try and use FTP [http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   to rename the theme’s folder name to something like old-nishita-wpcom
 * this should activate the default theme Twenty Fifteen and allow you back into
   the dashboard; then either re-upload a new copy of your theme, or repair the 
   error in functions.php
