# Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in …

 * I have a problem with my wordpress blog. It’s a clean install, noting is done
   but uploading the files. I get this error after uploading the config file:
 * Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /customers/deiging.com/deiging.com/
   httpd.www/blog/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 314
 * It appears in both:
 * [http://www.deiging.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php](http://www.deiging.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php)
 * and
 * [http://www.deiging.com/blog/](http://www.deiging.com/blog/)
 * Need help on this one 🙁

 * Many of the files where corrupted. Guess the upload was bad.
 * But is up and running now 🙂
