Parent Pages

    Hi,

    I would really like to be able to set Parent Pages of the Sportpress generated pages. Specifically have the Team page as a Parent Page for all the current Player Pages. I’m guessing this would need the Parent Page Meta box and attribute added to the edit pages, although I’m not a good enough coder to know the correct code or where to add it?

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    This isn’t really possible by default as they aren’t pages, they are a custom post type. You could though create pages and redirect to the team pages, but I’m not sure why you need this hierarchy inside of WP

    Thanks for the quick reply Roch,

    It’s for navigation. Our site uses Breadcrumbs and as the players pages are linked from the team page it feels like the breadcrumb is missing when you’re navigating the site.

    Hi!

    Oh, my idea won’t work for you then. You may try a custom function on top of the regular breadcrumbs, but that would certainly require some coding knowledge
