Support » Fixing WordPress » Parent page shows instead of child when using the child link

  • I’m not an expert on wordpress but I’ve tried every solution I know for this and still my problem not solved,

I’m trying to create a child page under my-account page to map it to woocommerce login pop-up link but what’s happening here is that the link takes me always to the parent page, is it a permalink problem or something else? because I tried almost all the combinations for permalinks

please anyone can help me with this?!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I assume my-account is set as the user account page in WC settings. WC is seeing the account page slug in the request and serving up the account page, overriding the default child page behavior. For my-account children to work, the parent cannot be set as the user account page in WC. The folks over at the dedicated WC support forum might have a suggestion on how to let child pages happen. I suggest asking over there:
    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

Failing that, you could set up a stand in parent such as /account/ under which the child pages reside. Setup an .htaccess rule for /account/ requests with no children specified to redirect to /my-account/ but letting WP handle any child page requests.
