Parent Order ‘completed’ at end of subscription length

I need to find a solution that allows the parent order to be changed to completed once the length of time the subscription is active for has ended.
To give you the situation, tickets are created when the order is changed from processing to completed. I don’t want to send the tickets before the full payment has been made.
Admittedly this is more of a payment scheme but it works for several clients. I want to remove the manual part of changing the parent order.
