# Parent menu items clicked

 * Hi, I would like to know how in a menu with a lot of submenus, the parent item
   cannot be clicked. So, you have to click only the sub-menus.
 * In my case [http://www.supers.gr](http://www.supers.gr)
    pages like “get started”,“
   gear”, “board”, “training”, etc.. are empty pages that can be clicked. I don’t
   want to be clicked. How’s that?

 * You’d have to remove the anchor in the CSS. For a quicker fix, try this:
 * In the **Appearance > Menus**, use a “**Link**” for the parent item. Set the 
   link address simply to “**#**” without the quotes.

 * If you are using a custom menu, you can use a simple # as the url for the parent
   items. If the menu is output by your theme, you will have to ask the theme dev.’
