# Parent and Sub Filtering

 * How is the Parent function designed to work? If I tag something as a child filter
   that has a parent, both the child and parent filters show up in the horizontal
   list of filters.
 * The child filter is essentially just its own filter, there’s no need for the 
   parent.
 * Is it possible when I chose the parent filter, the child filter then appears.
   For example, I have a video, picture and document filter. When I click the picture
   filter, all the children filters then appear to filter the pictures even further
   down.
 * I have the paid default+ version.
